One of our favourite chemical peels, the Obagi® Blue Peel Radiance™, is a superficial 20% salicylic acid-based peel that exfoliates and helps improve overall complexion appearance, resulting in brighter, smoother, firmer-looking skin. It requires little to no downtime and the benefits are seen after just one treatment, but a series of 4 to 6 treatments provides the best overall results.
The Obagi® Blue Peel Radiance™ is ideal for the following skin concerns:
Chemical peels like this one aren’t only limited for the treatment of the face either. You can safely and effectively tackle the above skin concerns on your neck, shoulders and upper back as well.
Our experienced doctors will customise the Obagi® Blue Peel Radiance™ depending on your skin type, sensitivity, the severity of your imperfections and your overarching skincare goals. With a comprehensive understanding of how each layer of the face ages paired with knowledge of anatomy and facial proportions, our doctors know how to deliver results that integrate well with your skin and compliment your other treatments.
Our ‘full face’ approach at White Swan Aesthetics aims to combine treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, medical grade skincare and chemical peels in order to achieve the most successful, long-term outcomes and allow you to reach your specific skin and treatment goals.
The treatment takes less than 30 minutes and results are seen immediately, with your skin looking younger, smoother and tighter. The benefits continue to develop over the next 7-10 days, with noticeable improvement in the appearance of scars, wrinkles, photodamage and pore size.
Dr Adam in our Mayfair location is particularly experienced at offering the Obagi Blue Peel Radiance and offers complimentary consultations and skincare analysis. Please call us on 03335777926 to book your appointment.
– As this is a superficial face peel, there aren’t any specific steps you need to take before you arrive for your appointment. However, patients with drier skin types may need to restore and hydrate their skin barrier.
– It’s always important to apply a regular SPF, but even more so after chemical peels like this one as your skin will be especially vulnerable for around 14 days. A medical moisturiser is also required to facilitate the shedding of dead skin post-peel.
– This is one of the most widely popular chemical peels as it’s highly effective for all skin types and ethnicities
